URC - Analytical Services
In addition to our main laboratory located at 626 N.E. Division Street, Myrtle Creek, Oregon, we have recently opened a second facility for receipt of samples in Bend, Oregon (738 SE Glenwood Dr.). The Analytical Services team, provides commercial analytical chemistry and microbiological services to the Pacific Northwest community at large. The
Group also provides extensive analytical and microbiological support to in-house engineering
and research activities. See our new ChemLab.cc Website. URC maintains the most complete private analytical
laboratory for physical, chemical, and microbial testing between Portland and San
Francisco. URC is accredited by the Oregon Laboratory Accreditation Program to meet the rigorous standards of the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Committee (NELAC) for the determination of all regulated inorganic, organic, radionuclide, and
microbial drinking water contaminants with the exception of asbestos and dioxins. These
Federal and State certifications ensure that facilities, instrumentation, equipment,
methodology, and rigorous quality control programs are utilized for the generation of
legally defensible analytical data of the highest quality.
The Analytical Services Group has established an enviable record of service to
both government and the private sector. In recent years, analytical and microbiological
services have been provided to: the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Army 6th
Infantry Division (Light), the U.S. Veterans Administration, the U.S. Bureau of
Reclamation, the U.S. Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the National Park
Service, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Portland Water Bureau, 3M Company,
International Paper, Louisiana Pacific, General Instrument Corporation, Hewlett Packard,
Pacific Power & Light, and CH2M Hill, plus a host of cities throughout the Pacific
Northwest.
